Psychological and pedagogical support
Treatments
Most of the causes of poor sleep are due to events that occur during the day. In our day-to-day life we accumulate work-related, emotional and social stressors, including health. If we do not resolve these daytime stresses, good rest will be impossible.
These situations are not solved with drugs.
For this reason, with the help of our professionals in Psychology and Pedagogy, and normally in a single session and a subsequent control, behavioral guidance tools are given to channel the solution of these daytime stressors.
Another non-pharmacological treatment that we carry out is the Workshop: Chasing the dream
Sleep is a habit that must be prepared with good hygiene habits and sleep routines. When this habit is broken, insomnia appears. To re-establish the habit again, it is necessary to get all routines back on track.
At the clinic, we conduct the “Chasing Sleep” Workshop to learn, in a practical way, how to prepare for sleep with different methods of mental disconnection and relaxation.
The Workshop is held in person at our Sleep Clinic, in groups of 6-8 people.
The teacher will be our team psychologist Ángels Navarro, a specialist in cognitive development and stimulation.
